“Love recognizes no barriers. It jumps hurdles, leaps fences, penetrates walls to arrive at its destination full of hope.” — Maya Angelou

I love to read stories of romance.  As I have aged and continued to read romance stories, I noticed that the characters don’t necessarily age.  But, romance doesn’t exist only for the young. This is what inspires me to write Boomer Lit, this and the stories I hear from real people experiencing new love in all seasons of their lives. People in their 60’s, 70’s and up getting married for the second or third time, or in some cases, their very first time.

Love changes and the season of love in your twenties, thirties, etc. is different than love in your sixties or older. These are people who have lived life with all of its ups and downs and turns in the road. They’ve been through disappointment in love, unrequited love, loveless marriages, and yet they still hope for that connection with a soul mate who will love them as they are and know them like no one else. These same people still experience problems with falling in love. Children are not approving. There may be financial risks and concerns about where to live or how to divide up property when they expire.

I welcome you to tell me your story of how you met and fell in love at whatever age you are. Thank you for visiting my site.  I look forward to getting to know you better.
